I read through my own post and find it I am back to the square. I had walk past 4 corners and here I am, back to the same old spot.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Full of disappointments.. really full of question marks.. Do we need to come to such extend? People often say, the one you trust most is the one who hurt you most. Who can i really trust in SJAB?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Do you all really want to force me to the extend to either really been aggressive or leave the Corps? I find ways to initiate and talk to you people for years. I try to make you all see the views that it take 2 hands to clap. I try to think further for the Corps than we should. I try to tell you where you go wrong. I try to bring solutions and not problems to you. But why is there no one telling me rather than just making casual remarks? I try to calm the Corps down. I try and I try. Have you ever try to talk to me about my problem and asking me try to change?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I changed. I am slowly beginning to be less aggressive and believe more in influencing than commanding. When you are lost, there is someone to guide you in the Corps. When I need a pull and I look behind me, no one is showing me the directions. Someone ask me, do I really need to bear all the problems to myself instead of letting people know? My ans: "coz everyone mention when they come to the Corps they want to be happy".&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We are all adults, its a shame. I failed to face this challenge. In fact, we’re in a constant state of flux between good and for lack of a better word, “bad” times.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This state of flux is designed to help us grow into the kind of human beings we can be, to help us understand how we fit into the larger scheme of things, and to prevent our minds and bodies from declining in a state of inertia.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Economic cycles for example, with their booms and downturns, are remarkably consistent, even with our ostensible understanding of the financial markets. Recessionary times, like other “bad” times are a fact of life. They can be unpleasant and disappointing, and for many of us these days, utterly crushing, but they are an essential of part of life.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Without them, we would become complacent and slothful, success and love wouldn’t fill our hearts with as much joy and there would be no push towards improving ourselves.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;However, when circumstances take twists and turns we can’t predict, we often feel discouraged. And we feel an urge to complain. Some people feel it’s alright. The so-called logic is “If the world is treating me unkindly, why shouldn’t I make some noise about it?”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well, the “noise” may release some tension initially, but complaining doesn’t solve anything. Besides, it produces a negative mindset. It forces us to unwittingly dwell on what’s wrong in our lives instead of focusing on what we can change or do to make things right. When complaining become a part of you, you’re inviting a lot of negative energy into your life.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When something does differently than we had planned or when something that’s difficult pops up unexpectedly we should allow ourselves to feel the confusion, anger or whatever other emotion corners along as a result.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But once you have vented, prevent yourself from dwelling on the thing that caused the negative emotion. Quit complaining. When you complain, you tell several people over and over about what went wrong. Your mind is focused on the horrible thing. You bring others down by complaining. And you bring yourself down.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So, after venting, allow yourself to pick up the pieces and see where you can go from where you are. What can you do to make things better? How can you respond so that meeting your main priority is still your focus? Think about things that have gone right in your life. Appreciate what you have been able to achieve so far.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So if life is dealing you all he wrong cards at the moment, go ahead and vent, but quit complaining. You will be in a much better position to handle things the next tine they don’t go your way. Our looks, our demeanour, our abilities, our intelligence, our possessions, how happy we are. It’s a survival instinct I suppose, when knowing how competent the other players are gives you clues about how to play the game&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;However, this becomes self-defeating when we begin to compare ourselves with others. When we do this, we give away a small part of our uniqueness, taking away from out own gifts and talents.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;No other person has our unique qualities. No one else has ever gone through the exact same circumstances or has had the precise physical characteristics or thoughts we have.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It is when we are envious of others and what they possess that we do the greatest damage to ourselves. If we only knew what their thoughts were and what they had gone through to achieve their success it is unlikely we would want anything to do with it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Wise persons of ages have stated that if all people in the whole would were to dump their problems in one pile and we were to go through that pile, we would be extremely happy to settle for our own problems.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We just don’t know what the other person feels until we have been in his shoes. What does he think and why does he think that way? What circumstances has he been through? What obstacles has he had to over to achieve whatever it is that he has achieved?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When we can truthfully answer those questions we can know how the other person feels and what has been required of him. I assume not much people can do so.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Would you prefer critics or praises? Are you someone who like praises but reject critics or someone who can accept both critics and praises?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In this practical society we are living in now, i strongly believe that not many people are able to accept critics. However, if you can, you should be had step out from your comfortable zone. People cry, angry, go crazy or even suicide because of others critics. Why just cant we accept first, follow by analyzing, thinking through and change if there is a need? Why do we just need to be so worked up over it? I understand that these words just sound easy but for us to put into actions, we must really put down pride and dignity to accept and swollow.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You want to improve in yourself or your plans, you must be willing and prepared to accept them. It is very unpleasant to hear them. However, lets take a look from the other angle of the more successful plan that make everyone satisfied as compare to a plan that only you are happy but others do not approved it. We come out with a plan to overcome something. So if others do not approve, is it useful?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well, I just feel that critics are not hard to accept as long as you maintain a positive attitude of learning and achieving. I think majority are aware of the great and highly respectable word "Volunteer". These people work without paid. These people scarified their own personal time and committment to assist certain organisation willingly.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I used to feel that we should not complain or expect too much from volunteer. However, recently, i feel that, do volunteer themselve know what they should do and their reason for being a volunteer?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To be negative, the present of some volunteers slowly become finding a place to fill up their own time, build up their own rapport and image. It sound really disgusting to be describe in this way.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is becoz i faces volunteer who volunteered but unwillingly to work or work more than what they are tasked. I just feel that since you cannot committ, why do you volunteer? Is it becoz of the word passion again? We volunteer becoz we want that particular organization or event to run well. We want to see people happy. We want to do what we can to help out. We do not have all the time to wait for people to make mistake and they learn through the mistake.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Argh.. shld not carry on.. I am slowly targeting people already. Whatever i do seem to be wrong. Don't you think he is expecting too much?" one claimed.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hmmm.. This phrase affects me quite alot esp if it come from an officer or a senior mouth. Shld one clarify directly to that person or to others?  Well.. Lets be rationale and less emo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Every single compromising of event, it means a drop in standard. However, if you do not compromise, and you enforced the standard, you will lost one man. &lt;strong&gt;Quantity or quality?&lt;/strong&gt; In an organisation, we definatly are looking at quality. But how many understand? Its always hard to make such decision.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Recently, i see potential one shld be rewarded and some shld not be rewarded. However, because of rule set. One had to follow if not ppl will not be convinced againnnnn. Should i compromise? Yes i did it againnnn.. and in the end what happen? hmmmmmm....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; "So what if you obtain quality where no one is happy and leads to very low quantity? No quantity how to achieve quality?" the other claim.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In this world, things seem so fake and we cannot denied we need to. Compromise month after month, years after years. Humans are just greedy. They are asking for more. Today you compromise once, will you still be able tml? Is being convince to work that impt or understanding and standing in the same vision more impt?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Standard or feeling? You want standard, you hurt one's feeling. Its always a cruel decision no matter which one you choose. Its always easy to understand how your junior felt, its never possible for your junior to understand how you felt and make that kinda of decision. Because, you were once a junior of others and you had being through it. They had not.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well.. Its so stressing!!!! Notice every post so far, that particular variable is always vs Passion? Well.. Seem like Passion is pretty important.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"Hey, few more weeks we are lack of manpower this impt resource!!! How!! How!!!" they cried.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;u&gt;Hmmmm.. Passion vs Resource (Manpower)&lt;/u&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Do i need 10 man to work or 1 man who can work 10 man's job? Are we really in a critical situation of an organisation if we are lack of manpower resource? Can passion be the tools to overcome this problem? I strongly believe YES.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Manpower is never an issue to me. Do not always expect that there will be sufficient people who share the same vision with you. In a working society, employees will only look forward for $$$, Bonus, and benefits. Employer/management will be looking for the growth of company and efficiency level (using the most limited resources and acheive till the maximum).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In a volunteering organization, young volunteers mostly volunteered due to peer's pressure, sudden sense of belonging (normally short term) or reputation (benefits-For own's sake future)&lt;br /&gt;The older volunteer will be looking on how to minimize the number of problems everyday.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If in this world, only if we can have more people who work for the company or to assist with less complains as a volunteers with their best of their ability, I believe thats must be a passion. I believe we should change and look things with a more positive angle to get things change. In an organization, do we need more leaders or more team players? These are questions often prompted.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are so many definitions of leadership in the world and so many people is focusing on the word leadership. But are we still concisous that leader should have strong believe in teamwork and a leader was once a team player?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Leadership is &lt;strong&gt;not&lt;/strong&gt; only meant to describe the top management of an organization. Neither should it be used on only those popular legends of an organisation.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I qouted these 2 phases: "&lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;Leadership is an interactive conversation that pulls people toward becoming comfortable with the language of personal responsibility and commitment&lt;strong&gt;.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;"&lt;/strong&gt; and "&lt;span style="color:#3333ff;"&gt;Leadership is not just for people at the top.  Everyone can learn to lead by discovering the power that lies within each one of us to make a difference&lt;/span&gt;."&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;People often say that "no one is born to be a leader, some are just born to be soft spoken and be a team player". Hmmm... pondering... I wonder... Aren't leader once a team player too? Should the different between a leader and a team player be differentiated base on 2 words, 'responsibility' and "commitment"?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well.. i am still wondering............ Something struck me to post my First decent post.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Being emotional or being rationale that i must fire up? Is it due to emotional that fire one up? Will such fire burns for long? Over years, i realise passion is the best word to describe burning fire. Strong Urge, Emotional actions, never ending ambitious.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Emotions&lt;/strong&gt; -&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;A mental state that arises spontaneously rather than through conscious effort and is often accompanied by physiological changes; a feeling: the emotions of joy, sorrow, reverence, hate, and love. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;A state of mental agitation or disturbance: spoke unsteadily in a voice that betrayed his emotion.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;The part of the consciousness that involves feeling; sensibility: "The very essence of literature is the war between emotion and intellect" (Isaac Bashevis Singer). &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Rationale&lt;/strong&gt; - &lt;/p&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;the fundamental reason or reasons serving to account for something. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;A statement of reasons. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;A reasoned exposition of principles. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;p&gt;Sometimes we claim ourselve making rationale decision, but it turns out to be due to emotions.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Humans are just bounds to be weak aganist emotions no matter how strong and how firm you are.
